Assessment of Antibactrial Effect of Different Extracts of Thymus Vulgaris against Clostridium Perfringens in Chicken

Necrotic enteritis in chicken is caused by the Clostridium perfringens, which have been found on almost chickensand for decades antimicrobial therapy was only strategy to control it. However misuse of antimicrobials linked many impacts like reduced susceptibility C. perfringens strains and cause cross-resistance agents. Thisworkdemonstrates that, uses herbal extracts with antibacterial effectsconsider as an effective way prevent reducethe enteritis.The present study determines activities methanolic, ethanolic watery thymus vulguarisagainst Perfringenstype Ain chicken.The activity assessed through measuring sensitivity isolated different agar diffusiontechniqueand minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) bactericidal (MBC)by using broth macrodilution method.
